Fish Herder
Nope it won't be too much current... It will be fine.
The general rule with heaters is 1 watt per litre of water so in this case the best for your tank would be 2 x 200 watt heaters. That will be plenty. Iv stopped using internal heaters and now use external hydor heaters. A few reasons why really. Less clutter in the tank, more room for fish, easier to adjust, fish can't break it or burn themselves on it. Plus I used to use 2 x 300 watt internals on my 450 litre. (120 US gal) but with the externals I'm only using a single 300 watt as the warm water is pumped around the tank.
The lighting I did use was the standard bulbs my juwel rio 400 came with which is 2 x 54 watt t5 high lite day and 2 x 54 watt high lite nature (1200mm) but iv recently changed the 2 day bulbs for moonlight blue t5's just so it's not so bright.
