New To Fish... Advice Please

Now I'm confused too - is it one inch of fish to one gallon or one inch of fish to 5 gallons??

You can have 1 inch of fish per gallon as your final stocking, but you cannot add all your fish at once without risking major water problems. During the first few weeks (4-6 weeks), it is recommended only to add 1 inch per 5 gallon. Once the ammonia and nitrites readings have spiked and gone down again, you can slowly add a few more, then a few more, until you end up with the full 10 inches after a matter of several months.

you should have read all the quote :p

 have to agree with Wilder on this one. Only two weeks old and 16 fish  Way to many. The rule of thumb for a fish cycle is 1 inch fish for every five gals. Then AFTER the cycle 1 inch fish for every gal. Take some of those fish back to lfs, you will have a big problem on your hands if you don't.

see I said 1 inch for 5 for a fish cycle.....Then after the cycle 1 inch for every 1

I would like to add that your water stats are not fine. Your ammonia is spiking. Do some water changes.
