New test kits

Hello all,

I am currently in the market for good test kits for ph|amm|ite|ate. The kits im using now have been pulled out of the market and I was wondering if anyone knows of good reliable new tests kits products out there in the market. (Australian )

Aquarium Pharm. has some that are really good, as does Hagen. I have both brands. Rose

Yeah I've used both.
Aquar pharm for Ammonia and PH found them to be fine.
And practicaly all of the hagen stuff. Good too
The only prob is reading the results. The colour charts aint always the best

Anybody know anything about electronic test kits? What do they actualy test for and do they work?

I hear that they are a bigger pain in the neck than trying to read color charts. Reason being if you calibrate them wrong or don't calibrate them often enough it becomes a bigger headache than messing with your pH the wrong way. Besides that way too high tech for my tanks. Nice and simple is the way to go. Rose

You're probably right. i was just toying with the idea of a new gadget. Connect it to the computer then get it to do everything while I go hunting "bears" then I can publish the results somewhere.
