I have set up a new tank 64 litre.water has been tested at pet store and is ok i put in 2 angels 2 kissers and a plec all very small just now but ive recently been informed all these fish need a bigger tank so will be getting took back. So is there any suggestions as to what fish will be happy in a tank this size or what you would personally put in it, all suggestions greatly appreciated, just looking for a few ideas cheers.

Is the tank cycled?

Both angels and kissing gouramis get too big for a 64l, I'm afraid. :/ Be sure to take those back as well

I have an idea for you, but first we need to know if the tank is cycled :good:

Danios would be a good start as they are hardy and quite small

You should keep livebearers like guppies, swordtails, mollys and platys there not that big and there fun

A good mix for your tank is below, mine is about the same size......can we get pictures?

Cheers guys everydays a school day eh. Haha
Feel as if im a lot more knowledgable on these matters just after reading a few pages on here about it really happy i joined this forum now and hopefully it makes my new hobby a lot more enjoyable thanks again

Its a great hobby to be a part of, though I am afraid that if you hang around too long you will ended up suffering an awful case of MTS  (also known as Multiple Tank Syndrome!)

As you research you will realise that the wealth of information on methods and species of fish is huge! And all differ from each other so much! You will find more and more fish you want that dont fit/cant live together and you end up getting more tanks

Fish keeping is a great hobby because once you have learnt all the basics about cycling, maintenance and the fish you choose... then you can decide how much more you want to research, you could study fish forever and still never know much at all :)
