Sinclair Aquatic Systems
i have just finished setting up my tiny tank. its about 3-5 gallon and its a "clone" of my bigger 20 gallon tank.
i put the aquaflo mini in the 20 gallon and kept it in there for a few days so the good bacteria could build up in the media. i think thats a clone anyway!
i then filled the small tank up with water from the 20 gallon and put the aquaflo mini in place.
that was all earlier today and i have just finished decorating the tank and have just done a nitrite test. the indication was a yellow with a small tinge of orange but hopefully that will drop. my testing chart goes from yellow to red btw! yellow being 0mg/l and red being bad lol
anyway, what can i stock this tank with? it has sand in the bottom, with a small amount of gravel, and a peice of wood for decoration.
i was thinking of a betta and some small catfish. probably some sort of corydoras which i could move to the bigger tank when they reached about 2 inch.
it was initially going to be a tank for eggs and fry so i may end up putting no fish in it, or is there any chance a fish that won't eat eggs or fry? like corydoras but a mid swimming fish.
