New Tank

Hi guy back again i know ive been posting alot about my new tank well i am scrapping the idea of the 39X12X15 as i brought it for £30 i am selling it for a profit and have just ordered a 48X15X18 and a hood from my LFS i will get a fluval 205 lots of ocean rock around tank for malawi cichlids sound good???

Fluval 305 at least. 2 is too small. I'd go with river rock, as ocean rock can often have to much salt.
btw...You're overstocked inyour 15. I'd suggest doing a lot of research on malawis before putting them in an unhealthy environment like your red caps. Sorry if I'm being frank, i'm just looking out for what's best for your fish and yourself. Not to discourage you, go for it 100 percent. just make sure you know exactly what they need. fishbase.org is always helpful.

Yes i have been reasearching malwis for along time now and i know alot about them only my current 15g tank is overstocked becasue i am looking after the 2 gold fish for my freind he is away for aroung 3weeks so i said id take them for this period of time, I just wondered if its unhealthy for this peroid of time.

Thanks for advice though.
