New Tank Syndrome.....:)

Ha, new tank syndrome, as in i got another one

Ok it was free, a 36X16X12 on a black ash stand come cabinet with fitted lid and glass evaporator. Its filthy and i feel for the last fish that lived in it But its almost scratch free, the cabinet is spot on too bar being covered in a layer of dust you could write the magna carter in.

This will i think swap with the tank in my daughters room and hers will migrate downstairs, (i have a spot for it but wifey needs to be told ).

Nice one. What you thinking of stocking in this one? Live plants too?

Always nice getting free tanks, I just wish someone would give me a tank for free. =P

Def live plants, can't stand the plastic stuff. Know a lot more now so i can better plan the tank, lighting etc.

Its stood in the garden at the mo full with warm water and a calgon tablet (descaler) If its still full to the line tommorow (best be safe) i'll go to town on it.

Ah well nearly, had it filled in the garden but its leaking. There is a chip on the side, hadn't noticed it before and i have only had it on wooden bearers so my have been a flaw in the glass?

Anyway its a bust, not worth fixing. The stand will do for my daughters tank so its not so bad.

Mudskipper species tank? You could seal the bottom and only partially fill it.
