Ok, So this journey that started 2 years ago with a 10 gallon tank has gone to the dogs faster than my dogs can keep up! lol I went from a 10 gallon to a 29 gallon to a 35 gallon. It's been nuts.
I currently have a 35 gallon hexagon with 3 angels, 1 black neon, 2 scissortail rasboras, 1 dojo loach, 1 pleco, 3 bolivian rams, 1 platy. And yes I know I don't have the correct numbers of fish either but it comes from making huge mistakes when I first started out and these are what is left of having the correct numbers to start with! I am currently housing (and don't yell) I know when my fish are full grown it will be overstocked. In the meantime they are still juvenilles so I'm not worried.
I also have a 65 gallon hexagon with 11 juvenille pihranas. Yes they are getting crowded fast. They grew way faster than I expected them to. Don't yell yet. Continue reading please!
Now, I went out and bought a 180 gallon square tank. This thing is massive at 39"x39"x28" (inches) It is freakin awesome. Can't believe how much money I spent on this thing! My pocket book is still screaming considering my mortgage is due in 2 weeks.
In addition to these running tanks I have a 55 gallon acrylic tank as a spare in case something breaks god forbid but I do have 2 children and 5 dogs running through my house!
My plan is to take the 65 drain it into the 55 and temp put the pihranas in it to move the 65 and put the 180 where it is. Then drain the 55 into the 180 and move the pihranas to that. Then, I am going to drain the 35 into the 55 put the community into that and move the 35 to place the 65 there and put the community into the 65. I'm using a pond pump and a 30 foot neoprene hose to do this with.
Soooo... according to my measurements I have more roon to add more fish in the 65 yes? And the 180 should be big enough for all the pihranas. This is a massive undertaking I think. Any tips or suggestions to making this any easier?

I got a Blagdon pump from my local Maidenhead Aquatics and it did 550 liters an hour and I got it for £11.99 so pretty decent really
