New Tank Help With Heater

Hi all

I have just got a juwel 350 corner tank 350L but its came with a 100w heater i really don't think this is right.

I have three other tanks all 90L and they have 150w heaters so think this new tank should have a 300w heater.

I've got a Juwel Rio 240, it came with a 300W heater.

No that's not enough for a tank of that size. I think you'd do better going for two 150w heaters though. Visatherm regularly some out as best in most surveys I've read.

i do have two 150w heaters and i am closing one of my tanks down.


90L tank with a 100w heater that should be ok??

350L tank with 2x 150w heaters.

sounds good to me.

With 350 Litres, you perhaps may need more.
