im thinking of getting a new tank from nd aquatics.one of the optional extras is opti white front glass, does this make much of a visual difference in a tropical set up or is it more for marine set ups? tank im looking at is 38x24x18 complete with cabinet and hood and arcadia led lighting 1xdaylight 1xtropical,the tank and cabinet quality look very good, any reviews of nd would be great, gonna run a tetratec1200 with it

My tank is ND and got to be honest they are great :) Really good finish on the tank and the cabinet is simple enough and all holes for the filters etc are coated in silicon to prevent it getting damp.

The delivery was good as well the guy helped get it into place and it was pretty simple to get going with.

Only issue I had with mine was that one of the feet was missing at the front - the tanks 6 foot long and has 5 feet along the front one at each end one in the middle and two in between each. And it was one of the ones in between that was missing, the wood sagged a little but I managed to wedge it up over a few days and got the foot under and it has been fine since.

With regards the optiwhite, its personal choice really. Im not that into them but I know others are, simply put if you think you could regret it get it if you cant imagine being that bothered dont bother. I have the standard glass and no complaints the fish are bright and show well under the lights. The other thing to think of is if it gets scratched would you be a bit gutted?

thanks will,i take it that it scratches easier than normal, not really sure what it is supposed to do(that prob sounds a bit stupid soz)to be honest.did you get lights included in with yours and were they pre installed in the hood just ready to plug in? thinking of getting the arcadia eco leds with mine think we light he tank up really well, any views? in two minds about getting them to do a 3d backdrop also, finish it off propely and hide tubes heater etc? 100 questions ,sorry, fairly new to the hobby but want to make the right choices so the fish will love it and me :)
