New Tank Decisions

Hey,

After two years i have got the itch to upgrade my tank and give my fish some more freedom, I currently have a 90L tall tank and would ideally like a 300-400L but i dont want it to have a massive foot print.

This as far as i can see leaves me with 2 choices either get a tall tank or get a cube. I was just wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers as to what the good and bad points of each are?? As i really have no experience outside of my current tank.

I'd steer clear of a tall tank of that size. It would be a nightmare to set up and clean. The taller the tank (of equal volume) the smaller the surface area, so I'd say get the biggest footprint you can fit in, keeping the height as low as possible
