Hi, I'm about to start a Tanganyika tank, 50 gal. I'm thinking about combining:
Cyprichromis leptosoma
Julidochromis dickfeldi
Altolamprologus calvus Congo black
Neolamprologus magara "lyretail brevis"

What do you think? Will everyone get along?
I'm a little concerned the Altolamprologus will make it difficult to do any breeding.

Thanks,
Leibig

well I have compressiceps with reganis and they get along fine. My main problem is that I put yellow labs in first as a good starter fish and they outgrew the others and now rule the tank. I think I might just get rid of them...who knows. Don't mix compressiceps with calvus tho.

your calvus and comps grow wayyyy to slow to fret much now trust me, I've got calvus and comps all in the same tank and everyone is fine, paired off.

Tangs arent too fond of extreme water changes so make sure your temp and conditioner is on the money.

I've heard that calvuses and compressiceps can take up to 5 years to reach their adult 3-4" size.
