New Super Delta

Yep, that is right, Monica found herself buying a new red Super delta male.
Very pretty boy, and he is still settling in. He will go into a split tank with my VT Windsong in just a few short days.
I still have not thought up a name though, so if anyone is willing to suggest...

Thanks! He is beautiful. Just hoping the little tear in his fin will heal up soon I am transfering him to his own 2.5 gallon tank, and transfering the sicky VT in there to a medicated 1 gallon. Hopefully he will heal up so they can share a tank (Split of course).

Oh my gosh, the black on the very fringes is amazing! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

I continue to find it amazing just how deep the Betta community is; and people from all animal communities in general. Prior to getting my pet snake, I did a lot of research into their proper care and husbandry (as I've done here for a Betta!) and I was astounded to find private breeders with detailed records of bloodlines and 'family trees' all over the place. Likewise for my lizard. I think it is so wonderful that in every community there are people who devote themselves to their animals, which will really help the species thrive for generations to come.

Thanks Nightlad! I noticed that too, the little black edge, I didn't think anyone else would.
I appreciate the comments. I believe in proper breeding in all animal groups aswell. If you are going to tame them and force them to reproduce, I Think it should at least be done well. Good job doing research on your animal before buying. Kudos to you aswell
