New Stuff, From Hagen!

SO here is the new Fluvel stuff-

I will list them in the order that thye are coming out:

Already Out:

FLUVAL EDGE:
You proboly have herd of these. They are pretty cool because they have no water line- there filled right up. Comes in 6 gallon sizes.

FLUVAL CHI:

My fave- Open top with a little water-fountain that is also a filter, very beutiful and serene. Comes in 5 gallon and 6.6 gallon sizes

FLUVAL PROFILE:

a sleek bodied aquarium that has stainless steel rims instead of clunky plastic. Very beutiful, and is attached to a wood stand. I'm not sure, but I thing they come in sizes from 30 gallons- 100 gallons.


Coming Soon:

FLUVAL FLORA:

This is ideal for planting. It is a beutiful glass box with a LED light- the neat thing is that it comes with a C02 systim built in! Also has a real rock background- comes in I think 7 gallon sizes

FLUVAL EBI: This is your ideal shrimp breeding tank. It has a substrate the protects shrimp eggs, is full of small caves for molting shrimp, and has a cool net desighned for catching them (this is so cute!) It cmes in a 6 gallon size.

Fluval Spec: This is my fave- it has a blown glass background, a lid, a LED light, and comes witha three-step filter. It comes in a 2 gallon size.

im probably gonna get slaughtered for saying this but i just dont rate fluval at all. i almost bought a roma 240 online , until i saw one in a shop and saw how cheaply made it was. they really need to work on build quality imo.

i should state im not telling anybody not to buy fluval , simply giving my onw personal opinon. there is much better out there for the same money .

I don't like the Fluval Edge, never have.

I know their filters are good but that's the end of my experience lol!

their heaters are terrible , and i do mean terrible. to say the thermostats werent quite accurate would be an understatement . to get my discus tank at 30 degrees , i have to set the thermostat on the hagen heaters to 22 degrees. i mean come on 8 degrees out

I'll be interested to see the flora stuff and hagens take on a planted tank. I'm sure it'll all get ripped apart and critiqued when it hits the shelves. The heaters are rubbish though.

just googled them all , and to be honest from what i see im suitably underwhelmed. im not going to be stupid and say they are bad products , as they may well not be , but give me a propper tank any day .

I'm sure they all have there bad moments- one thing- never buy some of the pet products from Hagen, when I had ferrets, I bought there ferret food, and it only had 25% meat- thats crazy, ferrets are carnivores and need at LEAST 35%. After giving this food, my fuzzy got really sick. They do have some pretty cool desighns, though
