Tell me: do u think if i add 2/3 gouramis and a handful of these tiny little tetra's I've seen..will they all fit in alright do u think ? EMBER Tetras they are called..

Yeah without the plec it should work. You'll want about 6... thats pretty much the minimum number an schooling fish can be kept in. Since they communicate/socialise through chasing and nipping each other, they initiate such behavior with other species if they don't have enough buddies to bug. And a nippy group of tetras can easily overwhelm a larger, slower fish like a gourami.
