Well its taken 4 days for my new black copper hm and his mate red female hm to spawn she is a bit tail bitten, but what a delight to see them both picking up eggs and putting into the ever inlarging nest, they both wait for the other to put the eggs in the nest then go for another gentle embrace and 50-60 eggs a time realeased a spawn to enjoy to watch

Yeah Bettaman! New fry. I just love mine and want to talk and coo to them, while restraining myself from hugging the tank. Instead, I just pet the glass

yes i know gilly as i said not the female but similar colour havnt a picture of my hm femle to put on site so borrowed your female picture as thats all i had....... :D
how are the new fish doing any picturs of them yet

The new fish are settling in well. Female already showing bars! She's alittle miserable as she's in a small breeding tank at the moment while we have a tank move around. The male is lovely and will be making the journey to his new home here at work on Monday. He has his own tank in the middle of where our team sits.

I borrowed a hi res camera last night so will tank loads of photos tonight. Might take a day to get them onto CD at the shop but once we have them we'll post some up.

Oh and those micro worms stink  :alien:

You should get used to the smell of the micro worms

but your family may never forgive you for bringing them into the house
