Ok so did a new Scape this afternoon.
Took me 2.5 hours. Arthritis Sciatica and a twisted ankle makes slow work.

I am not entirely happy with the plant placement and will tweak it slowly. I even saw my Cherry Shrimps swimming around.

Beautiful!
I love the twigs. Really looks like the amazon or something like it.
Fish look splendid too. I bet the Banjo is happy with all that sand to bury in.
Ive seen all the different designs you've done with this tank and loved them all.

Your tank looks great Gill. And the twigs look fantastic! Big pat on the back!!! :D

Thanks Radar, Only problem i have is now have loads of bogwood. that will go in the garage to dry out.

it took me longest to attach the Java moss to the twigs using small strips of plant weight.

Woooo! You know I'm your biggest fan!!! I love it!!! :hyper:

Hey!

Constructive critisim:

I like what you are trying to do. It looks very natural & stunningly clear (considering you've been re-aquascaping). BUT, what is not natural is your wallpaper that can be seen through the tank, really spoils the effect for me. Perhaps consider a (black) background???

Andy

PS
I am 37 & for the last 6 years I have been suffering from an arthritic like condition called AS (Ankylosing Spondilitis). It has completely crippled me, so I know what you are going through. It is a double whammy for me because I have two small girls & I can't enjoy being with them without the pain.

luv ur tank...really looks like a riverbed :good: ...ya u should try a blk background to see how it looks. It may look even better

It is something different from what I have seen, the twig really bring out a different atmosphere to me.

I am wondering what twig is it? Can I just pick one from the road side and use it?

Good job sir.

Dunno what twigs they are - Got em from the driftwood section on Ebay. I Have had it in the Water Butt Soaking for about 6 weeks before using just to be safe.

Steven C's use of twigs inspired me to try twigs and i really like it.

Oooops Missed your reply. How could I do that. :p

You can use oak and beech twigs (stay away from ash!).
Just completely dry them out so theyre dead and then boil them to get rid of any nasties.

Hey, hate to put a damper on all these nice replys but I wanted to bring to your attention that gouramis and bettas don't mix quiet well -_-
