Hey,

i've just bough an ro unit from ro-man, its a 50 gpd.

I bought the unit itself, 3 ball valves, a tap connector and a y thingy (technical i know)

In the instruction manual its saying that i need to use a saddle thing to pierce a whole in my pipe, but i bought a y connector instead of doing this...im so confused!

can you get a pic of the unit and parts? i plumbed mine in thur my outside tap.... didnt use it but it was free... lol

The Y connector is good to use provided you have a threaded fitting somewhere in the house to match it... Common areas would include a sink, or more likely the lines to your washing machine.

no pics sorry. Didnt it get a bit wet?

Ok thanks ski i'll check that out soon. The membrane obviously came seperate, so do i put it in when im ready to turn on the unit or can i put it in say a week before and it will not be damaged

thanks orange shark

The "Y" connector fits on to the washing machine cold tap. The washing machine cold fill pipe attaches to one side of the "Y" and the tap connector to the other side of the "Y" ......the RO pipe slots into the tap connector. Got it
