New poster, 29 gallon tank

I had a pair and this one's lover died. Of course, Im not good at sexing fish so I wouldn't know which sex to get.

Sexing mollies is easy. The anal fin on the male is called a gonopodium and is stick like, where as the females anal fins are shaped like a butterfly wing. Socolofi cichlids are aggressive, and I recommend getting rid of your tetras and your mollies as the cichlids will eat them both. The pleco should be alright unless he is really tiny(under 4")because he has armor plating. Besides that though I am afraid most of your inhabitants will become yummy snacks for the cichlids.

My cichlids are only 2-2.5 inches I'm hoping to be getting an upgrade before they get bigger than that. My pleco is bigger than them. I've never seen them bother my molly or my tetras, They used to bother my platy and gourami so I seperated them. Theres 2 albinos and they follow eachother everywhere. I guess when I see them actually bother my other fish, then I'll worry. But thanks for the warning. If anything, I'd get rid of the cichilds just because its 2 of them vs. 7 of the others.

Do you happen to have pictures of the 2 sexes for the mollys. Its a black sailfin.

So adding 3 female mollies won't overstock my tank?

29 gall.
2 Pseudotropheus socolofi (albino)
1 male Molly
6 fruit tetras
1 pleco
