I got my little medusa pleco last thursday so its been about a week now. I've put in a hunk of zuchini two times at lights out and the other nights ive put either algae wafers or sinking carnivore pellets. I also gave him a hunk of sweet potato as my old plecos loved that but the new guy didn't touch it :(

He doesn't seem interested in anything. All he does it hang behind the filter intake tubes or under his algae covered wood which he hasnt even eaten the algae off.

I know they usually take a while to get use to their new home and everything but how long does it usually take???

im sure he`ll be fine, they usually come out at night dont they so he could be eating (hoovering) off the tank floor when your asleep :)
are your water tests all ok?

I wouldn't worry too much atm.

My BN that I used to have, for a week + he didn't touch any food I put in; but every morning algae would dissapear. Then pretty much when it was spotless, I tied some peas and a zucchini piece to a clip and dropped it infront of him; he loved it :D

He should be fine, if not, any abnormalities on his belly?
