New Platy Strain . .

I have a Pot bellied platy lol
I fed my platys earlier & also popped an algae wafer in for my Oto's hoping the platys wouldn't find it too quickly.
One of my platys, the smallest, is very greedy..
She tends to chase the others away from any food going
She must've found the wafer & gorged on it.
Her belly is huge & she looks almost smug.
I think a fast day is in order tomorrow

Lol I know, just as well I did a water change & vac today, hopefully a quick syphon tomorrow will suffice

Yeah I did a massive water change today. about 80% because of the platy death i had.

one of mine gorged itself on live bloodworm meant for my betta the other day.
fat little sod was wobbling round my tank looking stuffed. she then did the biggest fish poo i've ever seen.

it looked like one of king kongs fingers.

She did look funny though.

She wasn't bloated after all. She's giving birth right now.
I guess the bloodworm affected her in some ways but the fat belly was down to being up the duff..

Mine still looks fat & I know she's not due to drop as she last dropped a week ago.
