New Planted Tank

So I'm going to take the jump and start a planted tank... So far I've got:

Juwel Rio 180
Eheim 2324 Professional Thermo Filter
Deltec C02 System

Substrate:
API Pure Laterite
JBL Florapol
TetraPlant Complete Substrate
Petsmart Sand


What do you think of the set up so far?

Also I know I will need to upgrade the lights but don't know what too... The standard ones are 100 cm, 2 x 30 W. Can I just upgrade the tubes, and what to?

Sounds like a good setup, havent mixed different substrates myself but it should work well. It depends on how much light you want, but you could just add an extra bulb (or bulbs) to the existing lights, I have just tied a seperate bulb to the existing juwel ones in the past. Have a look at the lighting pinned topic. That should give you an idea about watts per gallon etc.
