New Planted + Sand Tank > Gravel And Fake!

Id never ever recommend anyone uses playsand, if you want sand get Caribsea moonsand whether it be white or black, ive never had an issue with it like i did with the cheap playsand.

It was bagged as "aquarium sand" at Big Al's here in Canada. I didnt buy it at wal mart or anything like that so not sure why many are calling it play sand :p

From the pics it looks really fine grain like playsand.

Here are some pics as of right now :)

Found these 2 wiht a corner of the tank cleared out and chasing off all the others from "there corner" Looks like good probabilities of a solid breeding pair when they get a bit older :D

Got some Java moss now as well...and so far 2 of the YOYO's LOVE the new shade....however they seem intent on kicking sand up on it 24/7!

Tank is still hella cloudy but the fish dont seem to mind and all the parameeters are fine. Amonia, nitrite , nitrate all in check. Temp is perfect etc .... just wish this ###### cloudyness would go away..but I think it may be decaying hygrophilias that are doing it....will ask for more advice in the plant place but for now that is some of the new fishies that finish up the stocking of the aquarium!

The original looked almost exactly like my 20 gal tank, I had trouble with plants in there too but yours look better than mine
