well i'm in a mission ,so i might have room for more fish after.

some of my plans are:

1.1 betta (probably delta or crowntail,or a female of any kind)
4 sunset dwarf platies
3 ghost/cherry shrimp

2. 5 female bettas (yes it will work)

there will be live plants

witch is the best idea?

any other options?

Thanks!:)

with idea 4 im guessing youre afraid of the blue lobster eating your fish...seems like a waste of aquarium if its going to one lobster. i do really like them though! i would say w/e gets you the most variety and fishes. a blue lobster filled with ghost shrimps and white cloud minnows would be sweet! around here white clouds are 2 for 1 dollar and if they get eatin over time, no biggy.

or i would say number 4 with however many tiger barbs or danios you could fit in it. an all tiger barb tank with white sand would looking stunning.

im not sure, i checked before but cant remember, check sizing on the lobster, got a feeling the tanks small. also careful if u go with the gouramis, generally u go with a male, or a male and multiple females. 2 males will fight, and ive heard of problems with one of each, including aggression issues. not sure how well 5 female betta go in a 10g, check it out first. a 10 gallon, personally id consider a dwarf gourami and some tetras if i were u, or something along those lines..

hope i helped somewhat, prolly some more replies in the am

ahaha k, my personal oppinion is, if its all good, i know nothing of platies or shrimp, 1. simply for variety tho. BUT, platies and betta ok together?

EDIT: research sais yes they are:P well if platies is ur choice, and the shrimp are good (idk a THING about shrimp, never seen them available around here), then go for it id say.

mate u are given inaccurate advice here based on asumptions and person opinion or hearsay. please be carefull before given advice

as

1: u dont know what kind of shrimp so cant have any opinions on it unless specifiing what kind as dwarf shrimp would get eaten.

also

a male betta will NOT go with a gourami. if it did it would not be for long!!!!

male betta should be in species tanks only on its own anything with it is trial and error and no one can say that anything can work for definite as they are extremely unpredictable depending on the individual betta. and this will also go for females but not a sextreme.

theres no gourami:S:S i said im not sure about the shrimp, idk that was supposed to be a huge check it out first, not a do it neways,.. I appologize, the IF before the part about the platies being his choice was also to be applied to the "shrimp are ok" part, as in IF they are. betta CAN go with some fish fine, and the 10g tank is a decent size which does allow it more possible and less risky. YES, its always a risk with betta, but a betta does not have to be kept in a species only tank, specially if its 10g.

u need to be carefull the way u say things as u didnt state anywere that there would be anyrisks with th betta and other fish, but u stated that the platies will be ok with the betta.
so pleasebecarefull the way u say things

alright, i will keep that in mind, appreciate the feedback. I have a suggestion for yourself in the future as well if it is ok for me to do so, maybe in future, rather then talk to me, simply tell the person the post is for, for example, explain to them keeping any fish with betta is a risk but platies are one of the fish people have had more success with. more of a benifit for the person thats actually in need in the situation IMO, but i will keep your advice in mind for future posts. Maybe in the future, simply message the person making the mistake giving advice (myself in this situation) if it is something that worries you, instead of doing it here, and help this person instead.
