You only need co2 if your lighting is high (the Watts Per Gallon, or WPG as people around here call it) It's a rough guide as to how much light is getting to your plants. If you take the wattage of your lights and divide by the US gallons capacity of your tank, you'll get a number.

As a rule of thumb, upto 1.5WPG, you dont need CO2
1.5 to 2 WPG is recommended
Above 2 Wpg it's a definite, otherwise you'll be plagued by algea.

You'll also find that some plants also need high light to grow properly.

A DIY/Nutrafin yeast based system (as I have) is good enough to get started with, but for a 96l tank like yours, you may need two of the nutrafin units, or a big pop bottle DIY unit!

oh ok mate my WPG is 0.8 i think well 20 watt divided by 25g
