why does this remind me of my blue acaras!

cool looking fish! :D look s like a male! betting im wrong!

Cryosi - Aquidens Rivulatus - Relation of the Blue Acara. Some hybrids exist that are unsuspectingly bought by some fishkeepers who then wonder why things suddenly go pear shaped!!

GT's Rock though, among the most beautiful of the bigger cichlids

Guys i have a question about my green terror. i cant tell if its a male or a female. It lives by itself ina 40 gallon tank. the tip of the fins use to be yellow but now they r changing to orange and a little bit red. Can u tell me plz right away. It is 4-5 inches long and also i wondered lif it would be ok to buy an oppposite sex of my green terror cuz i want to breed my fish.plz reply asap

I can't see your pics for some reason!!!

male green terrors start growing a hump on their foreheads at about 4". Mine is 5" now with no hump. Also, the anal and dorsal fins will be alot longer and pointier if they are males. As far as coloration, mine's fin tips started as orange and are still orange.

why does this remind me of my blue acaras!

I have been interested to know just how closely related green terror and blue acara's are. They look so similar.
