Hi all
For many years I have been contemplating a marine set up, I have been keeping a large community tank successfully for many years.
I have the chance of acquiring an Orca 550 complete set up with 12 kgs of live rock and 4 yellow tailed damsels it it. The tank has been stable for a couple of years.
I can get the relevant addons ie salt, ro water filter, buckets, refractometer etc before I pick up the tank.
I have been researching marine nano tanks for several months.
My query is:
Can I successfully transport this tank to my house, it is 3 hours away at my relatives neighbours.
What is the best way to do it to avoid killing off any of the live rock and causing spikes?
I do not want to distress the fish if I can help it or is a 3 hour trip to much for them?
All suggestions positive/negative will be appreiated.
Alan
