New Nano Setup

BTW, if i missed, u never mentioned wot CO2 kit you are using, can we have a pic pls, many thanks

Looks really promising. Aquaessentials sells a CF over tank light 60 cms which should fit, needs a generous wallet if I remember correctly. The arcadia “arcpodsâ€￾ might work maybe two 11 watts.
Looks good, thanks for the detail on making the moss wall, hope to see it maturing.

Whoa I defo cant afford that :(

I have an arcpod but its crap IMO.Any cheaper alternatives?

You can get cheap one on ebay, i got mine, brand new for 2ft, 3X24, about 40 quids including postage

Wow link me up to that, just now im using a tube bigger than the tank and just sitting a reflector on it, works great.

I'm using the nutrafin one using the method stickied at the top of this forum. But since shrimp have a habit of getting stuck in the ladder(dont ask me how but I have lost 2 to this already)I'm using a small airstone as a diffuser that lets of the fine bubbles into the intake of the little filter.Seems to be working good as the plants are doing great.

mmm, that is clever, why i forgot airstone? could save me a disffuser. My last tank , i just put two 2ft tube on the top of the tank, can use kitchen foil as reflator, it looks owful, but does work.

That Looks really good T, I have just got the same tank and I am trying to make a good scape.

Waiting for more plants to arrive, Moss Balls, Riccia and Anubias and floating Plants.

Heres a pic, I really need to fix the riccia on the far right and the hairgrass on the far left that the big trumpets have uprooted.I have removed the larger trumpets. Also I have moved the moss covered bamboo to the far left and right.I have 10 cherry shrimp ordered and my lfs is getting me fireworks rasboras(i'll get 4-6)and that will be me done with the stocking. Then its just a case of sorthing out the lighting.

Blooming heck! Mate, thats awesome! So green and lush and bushy. Mighty fine job.

Thanks man the filter is a duetto DJ50, its a great wee filter and if you crack open the carbon compartment you can put bio media in there.

The riccia is actually from 3 different batches(stuff I already had, some from smithrc and some I got from ebay), its all growing well though.

Heres the filter.

Thanks man, the only algae I have is on the bogwood and one plant that im now thinking is not fully aquatic.Theres a few tufts of BBA and a few strings of hair algae although the shrimp seem to be keeping the hair algae in check.
