Hi I'm a Newbie to this site.

Simon ( Most people call me Trigger )

Tank 4ft x 15"x 18"

Marine set up

Not much Livestock due to Not replacing for 2 years due to a House move.

1x Regal Tang ( 8 years )
1x Perc Clown ( 3 years )
1x hermit crab

Just setting up a quarentine tank as we speak to restock.

Recently lost my yellow tang after 8 years so will be buying another.

Looking to restock with.

Yellow Tang
Fijian Blue Damsel
Humbug Damsel
Possibly Midas Blenny

and some Cleaners ( Blue leg Hermit crabs )

Hi there Trigger and to the forum!

That sounds like it will be an ace tank. Wish I could afford to make mine a SW but it would bankrupt me!

How about a watchman goby and pistol shrimp? They are soooooo cool!

Iv'e been keeping marine fish for 9 years now and at one point my tank was amazing but lost fish due to old age and also Marine velvet disease about 2 years ago. At the time I knew I was going to move house so did not restock as I thought its unfair to restock tank then move the whole setup.

But I'm ready again now and hopefully will be back up and running soon.


Watchman goby hmmm I had one of those In my first marine set up but he lasted about 2 hours as I had a small black trigger fish which killed him.. The lessions we learn.

Iv'e also been down the Shrimp road too I had cleaner shrimp for a while but then one day when I was watching my Regal tang ripped him to bits...shame.

My regal tang is a big boy he is mainly friendly but he lets everyone else know he rules the tank.

to the forums triggerhappy, Hermit crabs are a pain, is it a marine one or a land dwelling one because I have had like around ten and all died within two freakin' years. poor puss in boots

Thanks been into fish keeping around 11years Marine 9 years had my ups and downs for sure.

Can't wait to get a full living tank again. Its a bit empty at the moment.
