New member! Needing help with a Catfish

Hey and thanks! I think my water is pretty hard, the PH was around 7.5 I believe when last tested. Do you think the Tetras will struggle in these conditions then?
They will probably not live as long as they would in soft water and also it will stress their bodies since they are not designed for hard water. Like us eating a diet high in fats and other unhealthy things. I also have hard water but I use RO water to soften the water to make it more healthy for my tetras. I keep a "soft water" 55 gallon tetra tank for them, here is a picture of it. I call it my sunken forest tank. I also have several hard water tanks.

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into the water conditions more now and make sure the fish are appropriate moving forward. Tank looks great, perfect for them I should imagine!
