New Member Help With Betta

we have a beautiful siamese fighter but he keeps on plugging himself right under the pebbles in my tank.

is this normal as im worried he could get stuck

I've never heard of a betta doing this before! how odd, keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't get stuck

I have natural plants in my tanks so I use a lot of light when I reduce the amount of floating plants I notice the bettas seem to try to hide anyplace they think they can fit. Does he have a place to hide if the light is what is bothering him?
