Hello all

Just signed up and thought I would introduce myself.

I am from San Antonio TX and I am jumping back into fish keeping. I have had several tropical community fish over the last 10 years or so. My biggest tank setup to date was a 55gal cichlid tank. I ended up trading my fish and supplies for a ball python. I no longer have the python because he was creeping us out while my wife was pregnate (he would track the babys heart beat like it was food).

Now I have a 55 gallon tank with a leak. Once I get it fixed I will get it going again.

I also just got a 75 gallon tank from my cousin. I will be setting this one up over my christmas vacation. My plans for this one include medium planting: dwarf hair grass, dwarf baby tears, and some taller stuff for the back ground. I will be stocking it with dwarf gouramis, rainbowfish, and maybe some anglefish (my wife wants them). The maintenace team will consist of a pleco and some shrimp.

Sorry for the long intro.

A. ROD.

when I have got the skimmer out of the box it seems you cant out it on unless tank is empty and no one told me this and I didn;t realize, I have worked really hard to do everything by the book with the help of people who know this stuff and feel like crying now as i am stumped as how to put the skimmer on can anyone help.
