Hello to all you fish keepers or enjoyers out there. My name is Cory and I've been a fish keeper now for almost 8 years. I've bred numerous species and have been a moderator and/or regular of several other sites and love to chat with others who are crazy like me.

For fun, drop me a line and let me know your favorite fish in general (dream big), and when your last batch of fry were hatched/stripped (for breeders only). Thanks for welcoming me to the forum!

Thanks crazyforcordoras!
I suppose I could have started with myself. Current Favorite is Electric Blue Jack Dempsey (working on growing out my first breeder male right now). Last hatch of Albino Bristlenose Plecos was 8 days ago.

My favorite fish is my Coral Beauty Angelfish. Last time I had babies was when i bred livebearers a couple years ago nothin big

A saltwater tank has eluded me so far. Maybe someday...

to TFF! Hope you enjoy it here. I'd love to see some pictures of your tanks!

Did you mean our favorite fish in general, or only of the ones we've kept? My dream fish is a black ghost knife, but my favorite fish that I currently keep is probably my peacock gudgeons. Have not bred anything yet unfortunately.

Lets go with favorite in general (I'll edit my first post). That will make this a bit more interesting. I do currently keep EBJD's and they are my focus for now, but I suppose my absolute dream fish would be the L046 Zebra Pleco.

I love cories and how small and cute they are (I will be getting some soon :D ), and I did have accidental breedings in an old tank with neons.

Cories are awesome fish. I keep/kept them and have also bred them. You should give them a try! (Keep in mind you need 4-6 to keep them happy and active at all times!) They also need a soft or very small substrate like sand or very small smooth gravel. Larger gravel or sharper gravel will create barbel errosion. Not a fun thing.

Welcome to the forum I have 5 tanks and a huge one planned shortly to finish off my underwater world. My favourite fish has to be the featherfin catfish that has fantastic character and is very tame. Others I love are as follows Scats Monos clown loaches pictus catfish ticto barbs corydors elephant nose bumblebee gobies and Rainbow sharks. I currently have a baby tank which has over 80 babies in there mostly platies but I also think I may have guppies mollies and endlers too.

:hi: to the forum

I don't really have a favourite  but out of the fish I've kept, if I did, it would be my betta.

I would love to see some pictures of your tanks!

Thanks! Glad to be on a forum with lots of people!

If I had to pick a favourite it would be the Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia praecox). Should all of my Crimson Spotted Rainbows ever all pass over, I think a group of them might fit the bill as a replacement.

I currently have a small group (6) of Cherry Barbs, and the ladies are all big bellied, however in a community tank I don't hold hopes for offspring.
