New Mbuna Setup...

Alright, so Im purchasing a 200 litre tank as my 90 litre tank was no where near big enough to feed my fish obsession. I want to create an Mbuna setup & had a couple of questions on filtration & compatability.

1stly...

The tank will come with an Aqua one CF1000 canister filter (1000 ltr/h) & I was thinking of buying the Aqua one CF500 (500 ltr/h) as an extra. Will this be sufficient enough filtration for the stock Im planning on getting?

2ndly...

The ratio I intend on getting is 1 male:3 females of each species. It will be a total of 18 (including 2 catfish) The list below is what Im planning on keeping together:

Labidochromis caeruleus
Metriaclima callainos
Melanochromis Johanni
Dont know what is a good 4th lot to go with the above??
& also a couple of Synodontis Catfish...

Are these good choices & is it to overcrowded? Your help would be greatly appreciated

Ok according to calcs that's about 53 ish usg. That would be about 15 fish total. IMO, that amount of fish in your list would be alright, except for the melanochromis. They are aggressive fish and the other fish really need more room to run from them than your tank can provide.

What about pseudotropheus socolofi(they are blue)?
