Hi guys
I have new 55g malawi set up with baby cobalt blue trio, baby yellow labs and baby red topped zebras. I have separate 45g tank with just hap ahlis breeding well. Can I amalgamate the two once the malawis are bigger? Then can I keep an electric blue jack dempsey singly in the 45g?

Maybe. Read this:

I may be concerned about your other blue fish. In a 55 gallon you're looking at 16 mbuna type fish at the max.
Hi thanx yes the blue QAhli is pretty aggressive and that's my worry. On their own the male is agressive to females in fact I had to move a male out because he beat up the females. He's in with a frontosa of 10 inches and doing fine so that tells you how aggressive he is but rhe next alpha male is les aggressive and may mingle. PS There are about 3 trios so 9 mbunas in a 55g at the mo
