So I havn't had my tank for long but am tempted to grab a few T8s for my tank until I get some spare money to throw at Steveo.

Would B&Q be fine to pick up T8s? Does it really matter what K's they are so long as there not over 30watts each?

okay the K's only matter to plants, so no B&Q ones would be fine but T8's are old school T5's are much much better and cheaper in my eyes, get a 54w T5 tube for about £10 at my LFS if i where you tho i would w8 if your not worried about your plants, anything light would do for your tank unless its for the plants but if your splashing out on steve;s led i would w8 till then a month or two wont hurt anything
