New Light Doing Something Strange.

I just put a new bulb over my 55 gallon and it's doing something peculiar. It's an 18 inch 15w Coralife 50/50 bulb. Here's a short video. link

I'm no expert electrician, but I will hazard a guess or two.

Is there a wattage issue? Is that bulb too much for the fixture its in? Check the bulb over VERY carefully to see if there are any little cracks or chips in it. Other than that I'm not sure. I know that I sure wouldn't leave it unattended though! I'd take it back ASAP.
