I was wondering around my lfs today and saw a fish I have been wanting for awhile. A Long Finned Green Dragon Bristlenose Pleco! It is the first set out of a local breeder, so used to the city water. This one is so tiny, so I am growing him out in one of my oldest tanks, a 10 gallon with Florida Flagfish, cherry shrimp, and some small golden mystery snails.

Eventually I will put him into my 55 gallon tank with Bolivian Rams, Black Ruby Barbs, Harlequin Rasboras, and Yoyo Loaches.

Right now I leave the light on linger and add extra fert to grow a nice biofilm on rocks that I place in the oto tank. Here are some pics. My hand for scale.

Thank you! I hope that as he/she grows it will develop a nicer green color. I look forward to the flowing fins. Up until now I have only had short finned BN Plecos.
I didn’t even know long finned bn plecos existed! Maybe I can get one for my twenty gallon... can they go in a twenty?

If you have it VERY lightly stocked, and the tank is mature. I had problems in the past with having one in a 29, with it previously being fully stocked and over filtered. I just couldn't keep up with the ammonia spikes, even with 2x weekly water changes.

Hmmm... I just have a betta and a few cories in there...

Make sure you have a good filter and lots of live plants. I would also suggest getting it pretty small, so it isn't a sudden huge change. If you do get one.
