Ok I've done a major water change today due to the metal issue now before i did it i didnt notice (maybe over looked) my oscar has some skin "peeling?" or maybe he ran into something? None the less I'd like to know what I should do to fix this. And also could it be from the metal???

I'm attaching a video you can actually see the scales hanging off his forehead as well as the scar which is a lil less than a centimeter in length...

thank you

Fish can knock there scales off, any signs of laboured breathing or flicking and rubbing, where the scales have come off does it look fluffy in appearance.
Any white edging around the remaining scales.

I's not doing anything, you have loaded it right.

Still not working, peeling skin can be due to parasites or columnaris, does it look like his skin peeling anywhere else on him.

Is he darting around the tank as though something is irratating him.

go down and click free then wait for the seconds it says
then follow instructions

he seems pretty calm just frightened

Not messing about with that site, plus i had to log off as i couldn't get the first link off my computor.
If a fish is scared it's not usually calm, he could of damaged his head on the tempreture gadge.

possible cause the other day it looked like he had kind of a scratch and its now big and peeling (i think its the same spot).

shoul i remove him from the tank so if he gets any other dieseases he wotn get the others sick

and also since these 2 oscars are such poop mongers should i pass the pleco off on someone else? cause hes a toilet maker too only his is like a long strin and is quite unsightly HAHAHA

I would try a bacterial med on him, as he's left without protection with his scales falling off.
Plecs are big waste producers so its up to you.
I would use an antibiotc if you can issolate him.
No pitting in the head region, like a pencil hole.

no pinning on him but, the albino has sort of a hole i been worried about as well but i dont think it's serious cause its been like that for awhile i think it might just be the shape of his head

now i rely on a medicine called quick cure its made of formalin and malachite green is this an effective cure for something like this??

and another question it says to romove carbon but i've been told it just weakens the effect but doesnt stop it totally is this true??

yes it is hole in the head on the large one :( that sucks i'll keep doing water changes and i do change up his diet with bloodworms pelets and occasionally feeder fish. should i raise the temp of the water? its at 75 degrese F.
