New Issue

Just follow the instructions on the med, and the links, never had it so don't know that much about it.
If the other fish has lost it scales due to the incident with the temp gauge that will need treating in another tank with an antibiotic, good luck.

No thats for parasites, you need a bacterial treatment.

No you can't, maybe some melafix will be ok.

Tell them to order you some, or buy it online.

well the fish are doing well after my 75% water change yesterday I added a new pump for bubbles which they are enjoying they even seem happier the water is looking very clear which it hasnt been in awhile. the hanging scales have either been rubbed off or fell off and its just the scar it doesnt look worse so i'm assuming its going to get better. I think i'll perform some 20% changes over the next couple weeks. I don't think i'll be adding any medications. The only time i usually add meds is when i have had ich in the past. I believe in the age old water change method. I was in a panic yesterday because i didnt want a diesease to spread if thats what it was. I'm going to rotate feeding between pelets and blood worms or combination of the both and continue my feeder fish weekly. I turned the temp up to 78 i might increse that but not as of yet. we'll see how this hole in the head goes.

one question about hole in the head... Can fish live for a long time with the slight symptoms of it?

Sorry don't know much about hole in the head, do a search on the fish and get a good site that tell you what the fish needs to be on diet wise, plus i would get a vitamin supplement for the fish.
I think you add it to there food, like you would soak a pellet in it.

ok, good luck.
