Hey guys! I am new to the aquarium life, but love my tank so much.
I have a 3.5 gallon tank with my male betta Sonic. Amd will be adding a snail on monday. His tank is planted as well. He lives at my work (daycare)
Then at home I have a 10 gallon bow front with 3 Endlers, one very small pleco (I want to say he is a long fin bristle nose)
And 2 mystery snails (one is going to the other tank).
I had a dwarf blue gourami but I accidentally scared him when I was putting a air stone in... ans he passed. I am still learning and welcome any advice.
I may add a female betta in a few weeks after the tank is a bit more stable, but still on the fence about that.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I do have some recommendations. First is that your betta should be upgraded to a 5 gallon as thats the minimum; but bigger is always better in fish keeping.
As for your 10 gallon tank you will have to upgrade to at least a 30-40 gallon or give away your pleco and also add like 2-3 more endlers because they need more to feel more comfortable. But otherwise I think you are doing great. For your snail in the betta tank I would do 1-2 nerite snails because they wont breed and over run it, and their beautiful! Have fun with your aquariums and please take advice you hear on here.

Rocky, thank you so much for the reccomendations! As soon as I can get a big tank for the pleco, I will ( it will be well before he is too large)right now he is maybe 1 1/2 inches, if that. and I will be looking for a 5 gallon asap. As far as the snail, is there a reason 1 mystery snail isn't ok in the betta tank? Other than size? I will be taking all your reccomendations to heart and will get more endlers this weekend!

Yes a mystery snail is fine (really any snail is) but do realize that if the snail is to small the betta may attempt to eat its attenae. My betta did that with my snail. Nerite snails are just my personal preference especially tiger nerites. Also I know you said that "you think its a bristle nose" bristle noses are pretty noticeable, but if for some reason you cant know then you have to find out because you dont want to find out that you have a pleco that needs a 100 gallon tank

Hey no worrys at all! And I think I got some good pictures of my little cutie. I looked it up, and as far as I can tell its a long fin, super red (calico) bristle nose pleco. Please let me know if that's not correct!

Looks to be a bristle nose. Ive never owned them before but really want to some day. If you do a 40G for the pleco you can also add a school of some small fish like Harlequin rasbora which are very beautiful and will get along with your bn.
