Hi! I’m Jennifer. New to fish keeping. 20 G with otocinculus. Have 2 females with eggs and one male. Last few weeks they have been laying eggs. I realize that am quite lucky, since I’ve read it‘s a rare thing. I did not intend to have fry but want to do all I can to keep them alive. Currently, I wish to learn more about treating the tank for worms/parasites. Not sure what I have, There is a lot of info on the web but I’ve found it to be confusing and I’m wanting clear advice from experienced hobbyist not to wast time or money. Also looking for advice on what to feed the fry.

Welcome to the forum,
I feed my fry just regular fish food crushed into a dust lol
Any photos of the fish and fry you would like to share

Okay. I was thinking they needed protein to start out with once the yolk sac was gone. I think having too much brine shrimp actually lead to worms in the tank. Sure I’ll post photo in a bit of the babies :)

Welcome! I do not know anything about treating worms/parasites, sorry.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! Here’s a pic. I’ve got green water (algae bloom) from trying to grow more algae for otos lol.
