Welcome!!! Adf make great pets!!!  Would love to see pictures of your little guy!

If I figure how to post photos I will post some up. Only had him a couple of weeks. One person has commented saying he looks under weight.... I have been feeding him every couple of days on frozen bloodworm (defrosted of course) from what I've read I hope im doing right! But he doesn't look any skinnier than when I bought him!funny little fella anyway great to watch.
Thanks for the welcomes :)

Hi Sheniene!

Welcome to the world of fishkeeping!

And this is a great place to source for advice and help!

Post some photos soon!

Frozen bloodworms are a great snack but you should use a staple such as HBH or Zoomed frog/tadpole bites. And he should be fed daily :)   He will probably snuff his nose at them for a couple days when you take away his bloodworms (pretty much like a kid wants candy, not broccoli!) but trust me when I say that when he gets hungry he will figure out that the pellets are food!!!  Many ADF owners find it easiest to feed them in one particular spot (such as using a little ceramic dish) but do what ever is easier for you.

Well just going off what I've been told so far. Any advise welcome. Haha oh dear. Will love them when he does get them as a treat then!
He seems to have settled in well. No problem with hand feeding very friendly not scared or anything so all seems good. Do you think I would have a problem introducing another one in to the tank?

No worries, most places recommend bloodworms. Recently there have been more and more cases of it contributing to bloating which can be fatal if fed exclusively.

If you DO want to add more, you definitely should quarantine 6+ weeks. (Make sure any and all equipment is kept separate from your current little guy's set up. )  Unfortunately you have no idea what your new frog(s) may have been exposed to or picked up along the way and the chytrid fungus is lethal and contagious.   All new additions should always go through a quarantine

No problem :) I am a frog owner (primarily ACF but also ADF) first followed very very closely by a fish owner so I love finding new frog owners on this forum.

Yeh I didn't know there were so many people out there that owned them. I love having animals that are a bit different and the ADF just took my eye :)

Oh trust me I know that feeling!!! That's how I got into having as many tanks as I do (Hubby has me down to three currently lol)

Haha well I'm hoping to expand once I get more used to it!
