New Here - Question About Tetra (?) Species

Hi all, I am new to forums, I actually just joined to get some info about a species of fish that I saw.  Was not labelled and no one seemed to know what it was, just told me it came in a shipment, a guess by accident as it was not on the list.  I took a picture, but I can't seem to upload (new camera) .  It looks kind of like a Silvertip Tetra, similar shape and color and it has the same black marking on the tail and a slight orangy-tinge to the fins.  But, it has black eyes (all black, not just pupil) and no silver tips on the fins.  It also seemed kind of transparent, as you can see the stomach (?) inside, it looks like a darker shadow.  I tried looking online, but couldn't find one that looks like it.  I assumed it was a Tetra, but maybe it is not.  If I can get the pics on the computer, I'll post.  I actually think they are kind of cute, but I would like to know more about them before purchasing.  Thanks.

From that description I can't really think of anything..head and tail light came to mind but don't think that's it at all.
 
A picture would help greatly, hope you can get your camera to co-operate soon. What store did you see them at? Was it a common chain like petsmart or petco?

Hi, thanks for the reply.  It was not a common chain store, more like a "Mom and Pop" type place, for lack of a better term. I finally got my computer and camera on the same page so I got the pics, but only one turned out decent, here it is.  The fish were about 1" long.  Thanks for reading.
