Hello all,

New here. I've been into the aquarium keeping hobby for about a year now and it has been extremely fun thus far. Always learning new things and I'm excited to learn more on here. To start I have a growing Red Devil in a 20gal that is going to be moved into a new 75gal as soon as it is done cycling. Looking forward to restocking the twenty. I'm just not quite sure yet what I will put in there. For now, here are some pictures. Hope you like them.

What a gorgeous guy! I had a red devil in a 15g, just rehomed him. They have such great personalities!

I can say that those plants may not last long :p Mine ate all of them.

Im going to follow because I want to see my pictures. Warms my heart a little bit, I miss mine.

How big is he?

Thank you very much!

They really do have great personalities. I didn't know what to expect when I got him. Over the last few months he's gotten very comfortable with hand feeding and such. Always tries to get me when i'm cleaning or re organizing the decor(makes it fun). Luckily he hasn't been much of a plant terror. They're also fake...so not to worried yet lol if it gets to that point, i'll figure something else out.

He's now reaching around 6". I need to try and get a more accurate measure. He was about 3" when I got him. I'm excited for the bulking up.

How big was yours before you got rid or it?

Thanks for the follow!

Mine was only about 3 1/2-4 inches. Loved being hand fed, he was really cool. Ome fish I would love to keep if I get a large tank

Hey. :]

I love the picture of him hiding in the pot. :p
~By the way, quick question, is having loads of bubbles blowing into the bigger tank part of cycling?

the bubbles are usually air bieng pumped into the water via a airstone/pump to oxygenate the water ^^  it helps keep the fish happy

Ahhhh :] Cheers.

As stated, yes the bubbles help with cycling due to the added oxygen in the water. The fish love it as well!

Little update on the cycle: Over the last day the water seems to have cleared up quite a bit. Still stained tea color(which I like), but clear. Not sure what would cause the clear up, but very happy with it.

My tank seems to have a merky cloud about it, apparently, it's a bacteria coloud. 0.0
Can't wait to see my tank clear. :D

I've seen that happen before. Usually goes away within a day or two.
