went to the lfs looking for a halfbeak and ended up with 2 new fish and a bunch of feeder shrimp.

i havent yet goten a good pic of the starry night eel so heres my new flower shrimp.

hes huge, about 4 inches long and i included some pics to show how big he is!

thanks, my bichir is about 3-4 inches right now...ill probably re-home him after he gets too large. same for the eel.


i have the picture takin of the eel. its funny though because hes already burried himself right in the middle of my tank and all thats out is his head, neck up lol.

ill post it when i get back from the lake, so check back

ha =D eels are great! i love bichirs i would hate to get rid of them =P
 
well here he is all burried under the sand. it amazes me because hes 4 or 5 inches long lol...where does it all go

whats a starry night eel? :lol: from the head there its definitely a spiney eel of some sort. fire eels are you so my guess is (which actually fits the name) is a tire track eel. am i wrong?

actualy...i wish it was a tire track eel. they only get 10 inches or so. my starry night is very long and thin. he measures about 4 inches and is only half a cent. thick.

if i could get a body shot youd see hes not a tire track.

although, i havent even seen him for 24 hours. i imagine hes completly burried so that kinda blows!! lol im not gona know if hes alive or dead. i also dont have a clue what to feed him. hes too small for the ghost shrimp in there
