Hi
We have had our first 4 zebra Danios in our tank for a week now and are looking to buy some new fish do you have any ideas which to buy?
Our tank is 96l and we hope to stock with 18-20 fish

We have tested the water ans ammonia and nitrite levels are 0, the nitrate is about 10ppm should we do anything befor adding new fish?

We have 5 plants which seen to be growing well and the fish look happy

Thanks for any advice
Kath

If you have a sandy substrate then why not some corys. If you do then remember it is better to have a group (?) of the same rather than a mixture as they only shoal in species :good:
Also, don't forget the 'rule of thumb'.....ie.....1" of fish to 1 gallon of water (allowing for growth)

ahah! cheers dorsey i've been looking around trying to figure out how many i can get in my 10 gallon :D =10 :) cheers

Hey, you can go over a bit (we all do) providing you do regular 20-25% water changes but choose compatible fish :good:

There are 2 kinds of fish keepers. Overstockers and liars! ;) ...............ONLY KIDDIN! :shout:

lol i'll be starting a thread up soon about compatible fish be on the look out. So far i know i can't have puffers and possibly not bettas :(

How about some Honey Gouramis. I've got a pair and boy are they active! . Also try some White Clouds or Harlequin Rasboras, they look nice and are hardy. All these fish could fit in a 10 gal tank. :good:
