New Fish Tank?

Well the other day, im not sure what happened but my mum and sister were downstairs, i saw my mum and sister run upstairs and grab loads of towels so i went downs stairs my 20 gallon fish tank was spurting water from a crack about 5cm wide. i was able to save the fish, and i put them in my smaller 15 gallon fish tank as a tempory measure. Anyone know a good place to get a new big fish tank as my smaller fish tank is extremely over stocked now and my siamese fish tank is in a breeders net in the corner as he is not alowed out with the fish that already were in the tank. Anyways i need a tank FAST to get the fish out of the cramped 15 gallon any ideas???

I have heard of people using large plastic Rubbermaid containers, if theis helps. There around ten dollars, around seven euros. (?) Could be a temporary measure.

our local www.gumtree.com tends to have a lot of "used for six month" setups going cheap....

Car boot sales, Garage sales, free/classified ads, Ebay,craigslist, you could even go into fish stores and enquire as to wether they have any ex display tanks they would be willing to part with.

As mentioned, LARGE clear plastic storage tub with a lid can be used to good effect as a temporary tank. You can heat and filter it in exactly the same way, just cut some notches out of the edge of th lid to allow for equipment wires, and drill or cut holes/slits in the top of the liud to allow air in to circulate with the water for good oxygen.
