I like the sand , my son wants to try sand in his next adventure in fish keeping .

6 tanks on the first floor,3 on the second floor.

Silk plants.Some are the kind they sell at LFS(but I bought on ebay for 1/10th of the price) Some are silks from craft dept at walmart.

I love the look of sand and river rock mixed together

I think I've been to "That Fish Place " .

Back in 1992 we took our son "Dwarfs " to see my wifes brother in PA. , went on the Struassberg [ spelling ] Steam engine train ride , he puked , it was in July , over 90 degrees , a great experience.
Anyway on our journey I saw this pet store and convinced wife to let me go in , she was afraid of what it might cost .

So after maneuvering around several piles of horse crap , I was in , it was a huge store , the biggest I'd seen at that point , my wifes foot began to tap immediately , I think I got to spend 15 mins in the store , and of all the things I bought ................frozen fish food ........to take back on a 3 hour ride , we had a cooler I managed to find ice , Had a bunch of trouble finding beer , that was like , mission impossible .

Does that sound like the same place , BlueIce .

I thought so .

That place was huge ,very impressive , I could have spent 2 hours there , I know it , damn that woman .


No , no poopie feet ,I'd have fainted from the heat and the smell .


I did help a couple of old farts across the street though . Serial behavior thrifty , brave............

and those ground hog things ? what's up with those ? I'd swerve to miss one and almost hit another , know what I'm talkin bout ? [ it's ok if you don't ]


And there is nothing like the smell of the Amish country on a 90 + degree day

I know groundhog thingies very well...I grew up in the country .
So I also know the stench of manure on a scorching day...ugh.

Two hours isn't enough time to spend in TFP.I could spend a day looking and still miss something I'm sure.

Well I had a couple of open fields around while growing up

we had , Gophers , chipmonks , squirrels ,rabbits , but these things didn't hang out in the road Those ground hogs kind of baited me , they were everywhere. They also live here , but I've never seen any .


I could spend a week looking at all the stuff in that store and still not see B) anything , I guess after 13 years it's worth another look .

I grew up near a garbage dump ........... .......I'm familiar with stenches as well I should have
