New Fish! Finally!

Hey there, sorry about the wait, I have been gone for a few days for the weekend. the keyholes are doing really well, you're right in that they are not nearly as shy any more, they are all just about to be 1.5 inches so I'm hoping like you said I can start sexing them soon! The water stats are doing just fine too.

I will try get a pic of my big male and biggest female and post it/them in the fish tank forum for you. Will tell you on here when i've managed to do it. It will hopefully show you the differences between them both. Its amazing the transformation in just a few weeks how they start to develop their personalities.

I have put two pics in the members tanks forum. Hope these help you out mate. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you for posting those pictures, they will definitely help me when it comes to sexing my fish. it was weird today though, the keyholes all seemed to get very nervous again, I checked all the stats and they are fine, right where they should be. The only thing that I could think of was that the water change I did yesterday might have scared them. some of them even have their camouflage coloring again. They still all seem to be eating and everything, just seem to be more scared again.

You are probably right. If its the 1st time you have done a water change since you got them they won't know whats happening. Most LFS don.t really do water changes, they just clean the filter systems out. They will get used to you going in and out of the tank. When i changed my tank round, they were swimming round my hand. I was able to touch them. If all your conditions are ok then don't worry too much.
